Race Neutral Policies

“Race Neutral Policies Not Enough. . . .”

I suspect most observers will admit Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities are slipping. But c’mon. The definition of racism includes the implication that one race has a right to policies that grant it favor or precedence over another.

Neutrality is the condition where there is balance and equality of treatment, and respect for the rights of others. Imbalance and inequality are antithetical to neutrality.

So, in the analysis of Mr. Biden’s pronouncement, Americans should abandon equality under the law (which, granted is sometimes difficult to achieve, practically) for an imbalance. In effect, he suggests we should abandon race neutral policies for policies that are racist.

I thought Mr. Biden was against racism.

Racism Is Inherently Evil

Racism is inherently evil. By its very definition, racism denigrates people in order to grant other people a sense of superiority, and thereby implicitly justify domination over others. All humanity is made in God’s image. We all have the Imago Dei as part of our DNA. That image of God, the Imago Dei, is the ground for our being equal as human beings, and deserving equality of treatment.
