Trump Orders USPS Slowdown to Vindicate Voting Fraud Claims?

“Read the Mimeographed Notes We Gave You. . . .”

Under COVID-1984 most commercial activities were curtailed under government mandate to “flatten the curve,” and to “avoid overwhelming emergency rooms.” So, if one cannot go to one’s local store for supplies, may it be that one orders those supplies on-line? Is it possible that the increase in mailed pieces concomitant with the decrease in commercial air activity, and the mandated social distancing requirements may have strained a Postal Service already financially handicapped by Congressional mandates to prepay retirement benefits? The Postal Service was in serious financial arrears (to the tune of billions of dollars) before Donald J. Trump was elected President. Why is the uproar about their financial viability reaching a crescendo now?

It seems plausible that reduced commercial transportation services, upon which the Postal Service piggybacks, may be contributing to the mail slowdown, rather than any conspiracy theory. Thus, it seems that the increased demand for goods ordered from distant distributors (a 50% increase according to one local source), coupled with reduced commercial transportation upon which the Postal Service depends is partially responsible for the mail slowdown rather than executive influence.

Moving Mail Collection Boxes

“Look mommy, a big flat-bed with mail boxes!” “OMG, orange man is trying to slow down the Post Office!” Uhh, when was the last time you sent a first class letter (which, by the way, is the prime profit margin commodity for the Postal Service). If your neighborhood is not using collection boxes, do you not think the Postal Service may want to move them to more productive areas?

Preparing the Battlespace

From my perspective, the only benefit to the progressive narrative, here, is preparation of the election battlespace–“Trump won, so he must have xxx mail-in ballots.” Replace “xxx” with a verb of your own to reconcile a lost election with your opinion of who should have won.
