Abandoned War Materiel

According to most news reports, roughly 85 billion dollars worth of war materiel was left behind in the OBriceklainiden’s penchant to “complete the mission,” and retreat from Afghanistan by 31 Aug. Eighty-five billion is about $257.60 for every citizen in the U. S.

I Wonder

Part of me wonders what would happen if all U. S. tax filers claimed a $257.60 tax credit for every person in their household when they file their 2021 income taxes. Such a move would seem to rise to the level of genuine reparations.
