HRM Nominates Royal Lackey to Disarm Proles

Dems Always Talked Global Disarmament

We Just Didn’t Think It Was U. S. Citizens They Were Talking About

Well, it seems as though His Royal Majesty (HRM) King George III Rule-by-Fiat Biden just nominated an anti-Second Amendment crank for Director of the ATF. According to reports, this nominee, Mr. Chipman, claimed the Branch Davidians, of the 1993 Waco, Texas debacle that ended in the death of 76 women and children at the hands of the ATF and FBI, shot down one of their helicopters. In this reality, no helicopter was shot down.

Guns are a “Public Health Threat?”

One of the excuses HRM presented is that guns are a public health threat. The threat to which he referred are the number of gun deaths in the U. S. If he is so concerned about citizens dying needlessly, then why not make deadly drugs illegal–oh wait, they already are. OK, how about reducing the number of citizens dying by motor vehicle (more than 33,000 v. 10,200 by gun-involved homicide) by abolishing cars (NHTSA, “Traffic Safety Facts,” December 2020; FBI, “Crime in the United States,” 2019)? Hmm (crickets?). So, maybe it’s not a public health threat after all.

It may be the principal reason HRM calls “guns” a public health threat is that the last 12 months have shown that public health threats are not subject to the same public scrutiny, or investigatory rigor, before implementation of preventive measures as other challenges. “It’s a public health threat! Mask up, and don’t take ’em off ’till we tell you!” declared Lord Fauci, First Lord of the Royal Pantheon of Public Health Prevaricators. “Only two weeks to flatten the curve. . . .”

So, What We Can Do. . . .

I am not certain if ATF Directors are confirmed by the Senate, or not. Regardless of that detail, email your Senators through the Senate’s website, and tell them you oppose Mr. Chipman’s nomination. Secondly, financially support the Firearms Policy Coalition, the Second Amendment Foundation, and the NRA with whatever you can. These three organizations initiate lawsuits that oppose infringements on the Second Amendment.
